Craft Fair Last Saturday

The craft fair we went to last Saturday went nicely, actually. I managed to sell $24 worth of crocheted plushies. That is pretty good for me,considering most of them are priced a four dollars each. My mom also managed to sell some jewelry. I got some older kids books at the book sale at the craft fair (they were one dollar each, and they were hardcover). They are mostly from the 1940's through the 1950's. It was fairly warm that day,but we had a nice breeze. They also had the police there doing a demonstration with the attack dog. It was funny watching the dog trot around the police officer after it got the arm cover away from the guy that was part of the demonstration. My mom and I also got some photo cards from a lady that my mom knows. I got one with a woodpecker, one for my dad for his birthday, and one for my grandpa for his birthday. The funny thing about the one for my grandpa,is that it is a photo that was taken on a road the is fairly close to his house. Funny, isn't it? My grandpa's birthday is tomorrow, and he is going to be 86 years old. I made him an orange crocheted bird. Here is a photo.

The pattern I used is the pattern Birds of a Feather. Here is the web address.

It is a free pattern, and I think it is well written. Here is a photo of my stuff I was selling at the craft fair.

I sold out of the octopuses! I was kind of surprised by that, but that was my mom's prediction. I couldn't sell the set of marshmallows that are in the box, though. A couple people wanted them separately. Oh,well. I also couldn't sell my big crocheted snake. I guess he was priced to high ($25). Actually,I had five octopuses on the table, but one was sold before I thought of taking the photo. Here are the web addresses for the patterns I used for the octopuses and the marshmallows.

They are both free patterns, and I think they are nicely written as well.
 Well,I think that is it.
Bye!
