Last night a storm went through that was a combination of hail, lighting, rain, and thunder. Our power also went out last night, and I decided to do a little experiment. I found out that I can (somewhat) crochet by candlelight! I only crocheted for a few minutes, but I did finish about half of a flower. Here is a photo of the flower.
The pattern is called Bee Happy Flower. I got the pattern from the video tutorial for it,so here is the link.

I don't know if anyone would be interested, but here is a random photo of the candle I was crocheting next to (well,it was on the mantle at the time).
I think that's it.
Bye!

Chubby Chirps Update
In my first Chubby Chirps post I said there was another Chubby Chirp I made,so I figured I would post the photo. So,here you go.
The yarn I used has more pink in it,but for some reason my camera doesn't like this colorway (oh well). Anywho,I'll put up the link for Rebecca Danger's blog again,so you can get this free pattern. All you have to do is scroll down the page a little bit,and click on the picture that says Chubby Chirps on it.

Knitted Birds
So,there is this pattern I've been using recently to knit all these different birds. It is called Chubby Chirps, and it is written by Rebecca Danger. I been using mostly thicker yarn to make them because I like them bigger, but I did make one with worsted weight yarn. So,here are some photos.
I also made another one with thicker yarn, but I haven't uploaded the photo yet. The pink one in the middle is the one made with worsted weight yarn. I think her patterns are well written. The pattern Chubby Chirps is a free pattern,so here is the link.

Quince
This is a photo of the quince bush outside of our house. I took this photo a few days ago,but the quince still has some of the blossoms on it. It seems to be looking a little bit more like Spring recently. That may be from the rain we have gotten for a couple days, though. I've been working on taking photos of all my projects I've made so far,but I'm a little slow at it. I still haven't even counted all the bunnies I made in time for Easter yet! -_- Oh,well...I guess I'll have to try to get to doing that at some point. Anyway,I have something that is a little bizarre to say. Lately,I've been seeing Halloween related stuff at stores recently. For example,I got a plush bear that is dressed as a witch at the thrift store the other day. Thay also had a ghost salt & pepper shaker there. I was also going through my patterns I've printed off of the internet the other night, and I even found Halloween related patterns! I have to say,it is a little weird. Well,I guess I'll head off now. Maybe I'll get to counting all those bunnies. =]

Crocheted Bunny
Well, this is a photo of one of the many bunnies I made this year. I still haven't done an official count of them all yet,but I just thought I would post this photo right now. I designed this bunny myself. I haven't written a pattern for her yet,but I might at some point. This is one of the photos I have taken with the new camera I got as a gift on Easter. Hopefully I will be able to continue posting photos of my projects on here. I hope you all like this bunny! Bye!

April,and a new camera
Hello, everyone. I hope you had a nice Easter. I got a new camera as a gift on Easter. I don't have everything uploaded yet,but hopefully I will soon. Maybe I'll actually be able to post photos now! =] Well,as for my bunny count, the last time I counted,I had about 20 bunnies finished. I still need to make an official count of them all. I ended up making bunnies for some of my relatives. I think they were greatly appreciated. I think after making all of those bunnies,I really should concentrate on the blankets I've been making. Considering one of those blankets was started in November last year! Well,I believe that is it,for now.

March
Wow,how is it March already? Oh well,I guess that just brings us closer to Spring, huh? Some of the Easter decorations are up now, right next to St. Patrick's Day decorations. Go figure. Anyway,I've been busy with a little (or big) project of mine. I have decided to see how many bunnies I can make by Easter. I've done pretty well,so far. I have about nine. Well, eight really, since the last one was a rabbit I made in January,so that was before I officially started my project. I'm also thinking of making some sheep to go with the bunnies. It kind of hit me that I really haven't made any sheep. That's a little bizarre for me. -_- Well,I think that is it,for now.
